Yes, you can easily change your child's profile picture at any time by going to their specific profile and selecting the option to edit their photo.
To get to their profile:
(1) Tap on Settings in the navbar
(2) Tap on "Manage My Children"
(3) Select the child you want to edit
(4) Click on the option for "Edit Profile"
(5) On your child's profile page, click on the current profile image
(6) Select a photo from your device for your child's new profile image
